Being a Junior

JUNIORS is what they call to the third year students. Being a third year student is never an easy thing. At first, I really don't want to let go of my second year life. I thought it would be so hard for me because I will meet different faces and different attitudes. At first, I was disappointed because me and some of my friends belonged to different sections. I was really disappointed that time. I was also disappointed when I knew that I belong to section fluorine again. It's not that I don't want to be in Fluorine section but because I want to be belong to the four different sections.

But then, the school year began. I was nervous that time when I met my new classmates. And then, I realized that I am very lucky that I belong to III-Fluorine. I realized that I am very lucky to have classmates like them. "WE ARE ONE!" is our saying. I am lucky because we have unity. We're a family, a true family that will never leave anyone. I am lucky because my classmates are CRAZY! I am lucky because even though we have different groups (KPOP groups, anime, singers, dancers, LOL), we still have unity.

Being a third year student is a part of my life that I will treasure very much. In just a year, I found a family. I found true friends. I found III- Fluorine. Four different sections, different attitudes, but have the same wishes: to graduate in CavSci. Third year students also have unity. You can see groups of third year people playing and chatting happily even though they belong to different sections. That's junior! Third year students are friendly!

Being a third year students is not that easy. You will face many challenges. But you need to surpass those in order to enjoy your life! That's a real third year student! Being a Junior is a thing that I will never forget and regret!

I am Giselle

     All people have their own characteristics that makes them special. All of us are special. All of us have something which anyone doesn't have.

     I can proudly say that I am special. Why? Because I am Giselle. I am special because I have some characteristics that some people doesn't have. It's not just because I make lots of friends, I am funny, and many more, but because I am me. Actually, I can't point out which characteristic do I have that made me special. I think I am special because I act as myself.

     I don't dance. I don't sing well. But that doesn't mean that I am not special. I can draw but I am not that good. I am not good in writing poems. But that doesn't mean that I am not special. I am not a perfect daughter, friend and classmate. But that doesn't mean that I am not special.

    I think I am special whenever I make people laugh. I feel so special whenever I make people happy. I am not a perfect person but I can say that I am special because I am me, Giselle N. Malinao.

A Letter to God

Dear God,

            I wrote this letter because I really don’t know how to express my feelings. How I wish that I could express what I feel to them.

            Thank You for everything that you gave and still giving to us, life. Thank You very much for giving us every day to live. And thank You for giving me my parents, my family. For giving me parents who gave me the chance to live. Parents who taught me how to walk, who fed me. For giving me parents who understands me always. Parents who guided me in making decisions.

I would like to thank them for shaping me for who I am right now. For always being there for me. For guiding me in every struggles in life that I’ve been through. For teaching me how to live and showing me the right directions. I would like to thank them for giving me the things that I want that can be useful to me.  

            I would like to say sorry to them for all the bad things I’ve done to them. I know I am not a perfect daughter to them because I am a hard-headed girl. I always give them headaches. I do not obey them sometimes. Also, I am a lazy daughter. But still, they always forgive me. They always understand me. They still accept me for who and what I am now. I also want to say sorry for getting pissed when they don’t understand what I’m saying. Now, I understand why they don’t understand me and it’s because our generation is way too different from theirs.

Lord God, please bless my parents every day. Let them live longer.  Please give them good health. Please let them face the struggles that will pass in their lives. Again, Thank You, God for giving me them as my parents.

Meeting My Idol

Meeting My Idol

            If I would be given a chance to meet someone, I would like to meet the former Irish boy band Westlife. They are my idols because my two sisters really love them so I keep on seeing them in television and keep on listening them to the radio because of my sisters. And then, I realized that I’ve became their fan. They were really that famous during my childhood but now, they were disbanded on 2012 because they already have their own lives. My sisters really became sad after what happened to Westlife, and so do I.

            I would like to ask Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne and Brian McFadden if they still have communication and if they are still friends. And I want to tell them that I wish that Westlife would come back.

          Those are the nine stations inside the school compound. We should not violate all of those. But still, some are still violating those violations.

Effcts of txting

Texting is one of the best ways to communicate to others. Yes, it's really important. But, do you think it afftects your knowledge? Do you think it's not good for us?

For me, texting may not affect our knowledge if we will use it smartly. We should know our limits. We MUST put boundaries for us to focus more on studying. Most of the students now are always texting, they are always using their phones. And worse, they are using their phone while having their classes! That's a big NO! We shouldn't text while having classes. And that's how texting affect our knowledge.

Texting doesn't affect my knowledge in English. I think it depends on the person. I am the type of person who doesn't use shortcuts in texting. they said it's not appropriate because you may use that type of texting even when you are having your lectures in school!

SEMBREAK

What do you feel when you hear the word SEMBREAK?
Be honest, I know you're excited and then you're going to think all the things that you want to do to spend your days! Oh, just like what I always do!

Sembreak is like a heaven to me. It's like, i'm free to do all the things that I want to do~ I'm free from home works, from cramming, from lack of sleeping.

At first, there are rumors that there will be no sembreak. When I heard that, I think my world just exploded. Every year, i'm always waiting for sembreak to come.

This sembreak, I really enjoyed my free days. I had more time to bond with my family and relatives, and I had fun with them. I had more time with my best friend which is my laptop. I played with my cousins and I felt like we were still kids. We had picnics, and we have watched movies. Everyday, I watch cartoons because I really love cartoons. And of course, how would I forget to sleep? That's my hobby. I also watched koreanovelas and I finished them.

Semestral break doesn't mean you're free in home works and projects. Usually, we always have lots of projects during our previous sembreaks, but not this time. We only have few projects and I'm really happy for that.

I wish to have a sembreak again so I can have more time to stay at home. Because I am really comfortable there and so that me and my family will have more time for each other.
